Color Consultations

Color is the most inexpensive way to add impact to your home or  office.  Even if you do not change your furnishings, adding color makes your entire space look newly decorated.   We provide you with assistance in choosing colors that complement your home or business and it's furnishings, as well as ensuring that the colors will flow well throughout the entire space.  We bring larger samples of colors,  which makes it much easier to tell if a color will work in your space.  We will assist you in choosing colors that feel right to you, and that you will want to live with for years to come.  If you have already chosen your colors but feel that you need another opinion, a color consultation is perfect for you.

FauxHome provides in-home color consultations by appointment.  Color Consultation fees are $50 per hour with a one hour minimum.  Color consultations usually average about two hours for several rooms or 3 hours for an entire home.

                                        Home Staging and Redesigning                                       

Redesigning is the process of moving your existing furniture and accessories to give your home a new and updated look.  We always start by "shopping your home" to find items from other rooms that will complement each other.  This has the added benefit of reusing and recycling your current belongings, which not only saves you money but reduces waste.  One of the benefits of using Faux Home for your redesigning needs is that we often use our faux finishing skills to repaint picture frames or touch up furniture, rather than replacing these items.  

 In Home Staging, the main purpose is redesigning your home to show potential buyers.  Research shows that staged homes sell more quickly, which results in a greater return than homes that are not staged.   If you are selling your home, staging is the most cost effective way to make it stand out from the competition!  When you are considering whether or not to hire a home stager, remember that staging is always less expensive than your first price reduction!

An initial two hour design/staging consultation is provided for a fee of $150.  This includes two trained staging professionals who will  walk through the entire space and provide you with suggestions for each room.  A detailed optional written report by room can be provided for an additional fee of $200.  You can choose to finish staging the home yourself, or hire Faux Home for an additional $75 per hour for two home stagers.  Most homes can be beautifully staged in one day.  

We are also skilled in floral design and can add a simple, unique floral arrangement as a distinctive finishing touch to any staged room.  This shows potential buyers that you care about your home and brings a smile to everyone's face who enters!
